Standard drives are not always suitable for a particular application. For example, the available space may be insufficient, or performance data such as lifting speed or lifting force may be unsuitable. Nevertheless, the wheel doesn't have to be reinvented for every individual drive solution.

For numerous solutions the modular construction of the Mini lifting spindle drives allows existing modules to be combined with new components specially designed for the task in hand.  This saves both time and development costs.

On account of their appealing design, these drives are frequently used in sun-shading systems on large building complexes, where they control the position of the awning element. The drive has a rust-proof stainless steel housing and can be modularly equipped with options such as brake, rotary encoder or force-dependent cut-off. The stroke can be adjusted as standard over the entire stroke length. Using a suitable positioning system an entire row of awnings can be adjusted with just one drive.

We have developed special lifting spindle drives for the vertical tracking of photovoltaic modules. These drives are characterised by a low power requirement and high resistance to wind loads, moisture and temperature fluctuations (dynamic/static loads up to 50/210 kN). Trapezoidal or ball-screw spindle drives with or without limit cut-off are used. In addition, there is a choice of various intermediate gearboxes and motors.

Water-jet protection (IP 65) and the use of rust-proof stainless steel enable the use of this drive in harsh and aggressive environments, for example in hygienic areas in the food industry. The stroke can be adjusted from the outside over the entire stroke length, which makes assembly and setup child's play.
